Regarding NIJ Rating:

Regarding the NIJ listing process for the new HA and HS, we have already passed the technical testing requirements (drop test, wet test and backface deformation test) via NTS/Chesapeake lab testing. The results have been submitted to NIJ for review and we fully anticipate the compliance letter to be in hand soon. NIJ did inform us that due to a backlog of submittals, we could be looking at as late as September before receiving the stamp.  We have no idea why this would take NIJ that amount of time to simply review and confirm testing results, but please believe us, we feel the frustration more than anyone. The HS is right with the HA in this process, so we will soon have two NIJ listed level IV plates.
